Devona and Kevin Walter are very involved East High graduates and currently serve as Board Members on the East Alumni Foundation.  Kevin is an outstanding member of our community and is currently a sales associate at American Furniture.  He has quite a loyal client base because of his honesty and integrity.  Devona, with Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CSU Pueblo and a Master’s degree in Social Work from CSU Fort Collins, is a school social worker for District 60.  Kevin and Devona were instrumental in starting “Parents Promoting Music” at East when their son Ryan was an East student.  They continued their work with the program supporting their other children, Kenny and Divina.  Devona and Kevin’s children developed their love of music from their parents.  Kevin played saxophone in Jazz Band and Devona played clarinet.  They were both in marching band and Devona excelled in school as an honor student.  They have always been active serving and giving selflessly to others.  Kevin and Devona were high school sweethearts and have been married for 30 years.
