Gloria Trujillo-Sanchez, 1971 graduate, continued her education at Loretto Heights College, Norwich University at Montpelier, VT, and Union Institute. Her studies led her to a Ph.D. in educational administration.
Her commitment to the Pueblo community is shown through her passion to assist the young people of Pueblo in pursuit of a college education. She has served as President of the Pueblo Education Hispanic Foundation and founded the PEHF graduate scholarship program. Trujillo-Sanchez also served on the Joint Education Committee with the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce, Spanish Peaks Mental Health Center, the East Side Child Care Center, the Lation Chamber of Commerce, and the Pueblo African American Concerns Organization Foundation. Former Colorado Governor appointed Trujillo-Sanchez to the Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit.
