Jesse Sena, 1976 graduate, is a psychologist and ordained, licensed minister. Not the typical high school student, Sena stated that his years at East High were unproductive due to what he called "wasted hours" that he could have spent on learning. However, with the support of his teachers, he became involved in several community projects and groups that were instrumental in advancing political causes and upgrading low-income areas.

Sena has earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in community counseling. He is currently owner of Grace Productions in Pueblo.
