Fred Jacobs, Service to School Award recipient and avid supporter of East High School, began his career at East in 1969 and devoted countless hours to the betterment of East High School.

During his career at East, many students experienced his leadership and developed their own leadership skills through Student Council. Together with Student Council members, he sponsored many a dance and supervised concession activities pertaining to athletics.
