Silviano Arguello, a member of the East High Class of 1970, earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Southern Colorado. He then attended Colorado State University where he studied Molecular Biology. Later, he attended the University of Minnesota, School of Medicine where he received his medical degree in 1980.

Dr. Arguello completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Southern Colorado Family Medicine clinic and was affiliated with the University of Colorado School of Medicine from 1980 to 1983. He held the position of Chairman for the Division of Family Practice at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital. He was also Chairman for the Division of Infection Control, also at St. Mary-Corwin.
