Kim (Phalen) Radway

Kimberly J. (Phalen) Radway graduated from East High in 1992 as a gold-cord scholar.  She then attended Colorado State University where she earned a B.S degree in Microbiology in 1996 and, in 2000, she graduated Suma Cum Laude from the Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine.  Following that she completed a small animal medicine, surgical and emergency internship at Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado.  In 2001, Dr. Radway relocated to Steamboat Springs where she was in general practice from 2001 to 2011.

From May 2011 to July 2013, Dr. Radway worked for NJ Mobile Associates, one of the busiest mobile ultrasound groups in the country, as a mobile veterinary ultra-sonographer.  In December 2013, Dr. Radway became Board Certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners by the American Veterinary Medical Assoc. after three years of study, two theses, and a national board exam.  Only 900 veterinarians worldwide are certified as AVBP practitioners.

Since 2008, she has been providing ultrasound services to veterinary practices in the Rocky Mountain region of Colorado.  She one of few professional veterinarians in the US who are also trained in small animal musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Dr. Radway resides in Steamboat Springs with her husband and 2 daughters.
